I feel like I've tried to add a new entry to this thing like 6 times in the last 40 days but I just haven't had anything good to say. And I don't really right now either. I just thought I should update again since the last entry was just about a book I read.

Life is...well life marches on, as it tends to do most of the time. There is not much new to tell. My first year of teaching is complete chaos, just like everyone always tells you. I was talking to a second year teacher about it last week. We talked about how some days when you're driving to work you just want to swerve head-on into a tree. Not because you want to die or anything...Just because you know it'd mean you'd get to miss school while you heal. I'm so glad there are only three weeks left until Christmas.

Thanksgiving was great. Some of a family got together but it was very low key and the food was super tasty. And today I just relaxed as well. Except for when I got up at 4:30 to go stand in line at Target for an hour. But it was fun and I got my parents a portable DVD player for Christmas, so it all worked out. I also bought myself new shoes, which is always exciting. And then my mom and I went to Stranger than Fiction. It was very good.
